• Abbott’s Afinion HbA1c Dx assay is a rapid point-of-care test- available for use on the Afinion 2 Analyzer & Afinion AS100 Analyzer to aid health care professionals in the diagnosis of diabetes
• The test is designed to determine glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) level in blood in three minutes- allowing clinicians to diagnose patients and formulating individualized care plans during patient consultation and has received FDA clearance for use on the Afinion AS100 Analyzer in May’18
• The Afinion 2 Analyzer is a platform- simplifying the delivery of actionable- accurate measurements of HbA1c and ACR (albumin-to-creatinine ratio) results at the point of care- offering clinicians to make fast & accurate medical decisions
