  • The study involves assessing of Apple devices (iPhone- Apple Watch- iPad and the Beddit sleep monitoring device) in combination with mobile applications in 113 candidates aged 60-70yrs. for 12wks. to identify cognitive & behavioral differences among the candidates with/out mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia related to Alzheimer’s
  • The study demonstrated that the wearable devices will help people to identify and indicate starting experiences of cognitive decline. Additionally- Apple devices & apps have the potential to test the efficacy of therapies- accelerate the development of therapies used in conjunction with traditional diagnostic tools to improve the accuracy of diagnoses
  • Evidation established a platform to obtain candidates’ consent- collecting and analyzing 16 terabytes of data from sensor data from the smart devices- questionnaires about mood & energy- and simple assessment activities on the Digital Assessment App
