• Abbott's Talisman system, a minimally invasive, catheter-based procedure helps to seal an opening in the heart to reduce the risk of another stroke & prevent blood clots from passing from the right to the left side of the heart and onto the brain
• The Talisman system builds on the Amplatzer PFO Occluder that is pre-attached to the delivery cable. This design reduces preparation time for doctors and increases ease of use. The Talisman device is also fully recapturable and repositionable for easy adjustments and accurate placement
